Doctoral Fellowship in India for ASEAN 2022

The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are at the heart of driving India’s research capabilities and thrive on their quality education and strict selection criteria. Currently, there are 23 IITs in India.

Each IIT is an autonomous institution, linked to the others through a common IIT council, which oversees their administration. These institutes are equipped with the best laboratories and research tools.

The alumni of these institutions are excelling not only in the core sectors of engineering, but they are very distinguished names in the areas including politics, administration, management, economics and environment.

Selection Procedure :

  • Apply online on our portal:
  • Select the IIT of your preference and the specific programme/area while filling the online application
  • Each IIT one applies to, follows its respective admission process consisting of an application screening, shortlisting, and possible online interview
  • The final consolidated results based on the preferences in your application are reported on the portal

Criteria for Selection

  • Academic score Requirement = 6/10 or 60% (calculated proportionally for other scales)
  • English Test Requirement: No English Language Certification is required
  • Minimum No. of Recommendation letters: 2 recommendation letters
