Description:

The Physical Education Department is a Strata 1 (Undergraduate) program at the Faculty of Teachers Training and Education. Run in accordance with the National Standards of Higher Education (SN-DIKTI) and an equivalent of level-6 in the National Qualification Outline (KKNI), the program requires 146 credits and four years of study time to pass. This department aims to provide educators with pedagogical, personal, social and professional competencies, and the 21st century skills, to become a center of scientific study in developing concepts and practices of Physical Education, to create a culture of research to solve educational problems especially in the field of Physical Education, to provide educators with character and moral of Pancasila, democratic, and values ​​of sportsmanship to participate in social life. Graduates of this department are competent in management skills in organizing sports competitions, sports policy, sports intervention, journalism, sports coaching abilities and preservation of folk games and traditional sports as the foundation of human physical activity.
