The Pancasila (the Indonesian state philosophy) and Citizenship Education (PPKn) Study Program is one of the study programs in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Universitas Tanjungpura. This study program is a Strata-1 (S1) undergraduate program which was established on February 17, 2014 with the decree on the establishment of Study Program Number: 147/E.E2/ DT/2014 with an official signatory to the Director General of Higher Education. The main objective of the establishment of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program is to support and answer the needs of teachers in the regions especially PPKn teachers. The Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program has currently been accredited “B” by BAN-PT with Decree Number: 1986 / SK / BANPT / Akred / S / VII / 2018. As one of the study programs at a well-known university in West Kalimantan, this study program has qualified teaching staff of professors, doctors (S3) and masters (S2). There is a full AC lecture room facilitated with learning media (LCD Projector, etc.) There is a laboratory room, library, micro teaching room, the Internet network (Wi-Fi), as well as a variety of student talent development organizations. In addition, there are also various educational scholarships (BBM, PPA, Bidikmisi, and other scholarships). In the program activities, this study program applies the KKNI-based Higher Education curriculum with a minimum study period of 3.5 years with a total of 144 credits to graduate. With this curriculum, the Study Program is able to produce graduates to become: Professional teachers of Pancasila and Citizenship Education, researchers in the field of Pancasila and Citizenship Education, Developers of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education curriculum, Entrepreneurs in Education, and Pancasila and Citizenship Education Consultants who are ready to compete in the global era and MEA.
