The basis for the opening of the Educational Technology Master’s Program (Educational Technology Study Program) at the Universitas Tanjungpura is the permit to offer a Master’s Program in Educational Technology from the Director General of Higher Education, Number 2783 / D / T / 2008. ACCREDITED with a “B” rating by the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT) Number 172 / SK / BAN-PT / Akred / M / I / 2018. The Educational Technology Master’s Program can be seen as a necessity and demand for an increase in human resources (employees, teachers, lecturers, instructors, school supervisors, school principals, people who want to continue their education, etc.) so as to be professionals in their fields of work, especially in the fields of instruction, education, training, and the like in order to improve the quality of education. The Educational Technology Master’s Program is needed to prepare educational technologists capable of acting as Instructional Designers, Multimedia Developers, Users of Process and Learning Resources, Resource Managers, Assessors , and Researchers in schools, colleges, training institutions that have an impact on increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the system and the results of education and training.
