The Indonesian language master program has been established since 2008 based on the Decree of the Directorate of Higher Education Number: 2366/D/T/2008. This program has been accredited “B” by BAN-PT with Decree number 3723/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/M/X/2017 and is one of the oldest master programs offered by the Teacher Training Faculty at Universitas Tanjungpura. This program has some aims—(1) to improve individuals’ professional competence in relation to the quality of education and enhance the quality of career development, particularly in the Indonesian language linguistics, literature, and teaching and learning of Indonesian language for secondary school level and tertiary level, (2) to improve the quality of research in teaching and learning the Indonesian language and literature, and (3) to productively develop the individuals’ skills of Indonesian language and literature. The program offers some modules (42 credits) to be completed in 2 years (4 semesters). The teaching and learning process of this program are conducted through not only classroom meetings, but also e-learning —Google Classroom, Google Meet, and Zoom.
